Festival of Trees

Hosted by Tidelands Community Hospice to benefit its patients, families and bereavement program, the Festival of Trees is Tidelands premeier fundraiser and a community wide celebration of the holiday season. The Festival features a magnificent display of beautifully decorated live trees available for silent auction and wreaths for sale. Area businesses, individuals, organizations and groups sponsor and/or decorate the trees, donating their time, talent, and decorations. At the close of the Festival, the trees are delivered to the winning bidders.
Festival Shops, whose shelves are stocked from community donations, offer handcrafted holiday items, baked goods, and “treasures” for all ages, including a ‘for children only’ Santa Shop. A variety of events during the Festival – from the Gala Opening Celebration, Saturday with Santa, to Silver Bells – all add to the Festival’s celebration.
