Mary Atmar Johnson Scholarship

To honor Mary Atmar Johnson, one of the founding organizers of Tidelands Community Hospice, two $500 scholarships are awarded annually to individuals studying either social work or nursing. Candidates for this scholarship must reside in one of the counties served by Tidelands Community Hospice (Georgetown, Horry, Williamsburg), must be pursuing a degree in the field of social work or nursing, and must complete a Candidate Application Form. The Application Form requests general candidate information, a brief essay, and three reference recommendations. The deadline for receiving the completed application is May 15, 2008.
