Tidelands Hospice Leaders Complete Extensive Training
August 4, 2008
Tidelands Community Hospice is committed to equipping staff with skills and knowledge required to succeed in their positions. Several management team members have successfully completed MultiView Inc.‘s Tough Training Courses. These training courses offer some of the “toughest training experiences” in the hospice industry. The programs are focused on the business of hospice care and participants must score 100% on grueling exams in order to complete the course. The intensive training programs are designed to instill in leaders the mindset and technical competencies required to successfully lead a quality hospice agency into the future. Tidelands is pleased to announce that Marsha Hayes, Executive Director, has completed the CEO Tough Training Course and Julie Stalvey, CFO, completed the CFO Tough Training Course.
In addition to Kathy Erbe, Homecare Clinical Leader, recently completing the Clinical Leader Tough Training Course, she has also received the credentials of CHPN. Becoming a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse is a distinction that requires knowledge, skills, expertise, and compassion in hospice nursing. This certification validates an individual nurse’s competence and knowledge in the specialized area of hospice and palliative care.
