Giving Opportunities
The grateful families and friends of our patients often ask about opportunities to contribute to the strength and reach of our programs. These are a few of the options available.
Memorial or "In Honor Of" Gifts
Remember your loved one or honor a special occasion with a named gift to Tidelands. It's not unusual for families to request memorials to Tidelands Community Hospice in lieu of flowers. And "In Honor Of" donations often are used to mark birthdays, anniversaries, graduations and even births.
Donations can be made by check (download a PDF of our giving form) or credit card (via the easy-to-use and identity-safe Just Give organization).
We'll send you a receipt for your gift, and the family or individual you designate receives an acknowledgment card notifying them of the donation you have made to Tidelands Community Hospice with them in mind. Your gift is tax deductible to the full extent of the law and sometimes eligible for matching contributions from your employer.
In-Kind Gifts
From time to time, our hospice patients and families have a variety of material needs. If you have items you would like to donate, call our office for more information.
Gifts of Time
In addition financial support, Tidelands always is looking for volunteers to help strengthen our programs. The talents and skills of volunteers greatly benefit our patients, their families and our overall mission. Visit this site's volunteer links to learn how you can help.
Special Events Sponsorships

Bequests
We are honored by the many dear friends who have included Tidelands in their wills or living trusts. Your tax attorney or financial advisor is best able to advise you on a plan that suits your interests and abilities.
