Volunteer Opportunities include:
- Direct Patient Care – Visit with patients in their homes or facilities in the community, providing companionship, respite to families and practical help.
- Administrative Office – Assist staff with administrative tasks; filing, make copies, and prepare mailings.
- Bereavement – Support our grieving families through phone calls or visits (specialized training required).
- Community Outreach – Attend health fairs and community events representing Tidelands Community Hospice.
- Fundraising – Help support Tidelands’ mission through various fundraising efforts.
- Pet Visits – Bring smiles to our patients and families by bringing your certified pet to visit patients and their families.
- Veteran-to-Veteran – Veteran volunteers have the unique ability to relate and connect with veteran patients and their families.
